
The first ever Automotive Interiors Expo, the brand-new Stuttgart-based show that brings together the world’s leading manufacturers of components and systems for vehicle interiors, opened its doors on Tuesday 22 June 2010 to universal acclaim from the visitors. ‘For a first time event, this is really impressive events – there are lots of things to see.’ enthused Shigeru Nakatani, senior leader of the automotive analytical R&D department at Horiba.
Featuring the exhibitors including seat manufacturers Recaro and fabric producers such as Filc, Automotive Interiors Expo also featured a free-to-attend, high-profile Styling and Technology Studio. Among the presenters were some of the world’s leading vehicle interior designers from OEMs including Renault, Peugeot, Daimler, Nissan and Opel/Vauxhall.
